Allison Arkfeld, LMFT

Allison is a founding member of the Cove. She seeks to provide clients with a “safe harbor” through her utilization of somatics and depth psychotherapy. Her specialty is working with trauma survivors and adults diagnosed with ADHD. She also has a passion for mentoring therapists around safe practices for trauma therapy. As our practice’s lead therapist, Ms. Arkfeld sets the standard for our team as well as provides clients a safe, inviting space to heal.

Chris Aguilar Life And ADHD Coach

Chris Aguilar - CLC, ICF Member

As an ICF (International Coaching Federation) accredited Certified Professional Life Coach, Mr. Aguilar brings a wealth of both business and life experience to clients of all walks of life. In particular he specializes in ADHD clients and has been trained in several models to tackle this specific issue. In addition to his ADHD specialized training, Mr. Aguilar is a certified No More Mr. Nice Guy Coach - having been credentialed by Dr. Robert Glover. His other trainings are with the Conscious Leadership Group to help business leaders, executives and professionals. The coaching modalities utilized are rooted in being person centered inviting clients to examine “the who” of themselves and how they show up to events and situations in their lives. He is currently undergoing Master Coach certification that he hopes to use to mentor more of the Cove’s coaches .

Angel Tang, AMFT

Angel is an AMFT 137268, supervised by Allison Arkfeld, LMFT 118095. Angel is a Brain-Body Based Trauma Psychotherapist, passionate about empowering adults who are marginalized by their social location, traumatic experiences, and systemic injustices. She helps guide survivors process trauma memories and restore trust in their nervous system's innate ability to heal. Her therapeutic approaches include Brainspotting, somatic and sensory-based work, polyvagal theory, and relational psychology to foster bottom-up processing, in a neutral, attuned, and secure healing process. Angel's clients have shown her the universal necessity for secure connections with oneself and the world to heal from deeply rooted trauma and to cope with lived injustices. Angel is available for virtual sessions for California residents and in-person in Carlsbad, CA. She hopes to nurture with her clients a path toward sustained healing, resilience, and empowerment!
